Keep Active, Keep Well

Help and Local Support Channels

Although our health walks are currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this is to let you know that PWF will be using their website and social media platforms to keep in touch with their walking community during this very difficult time.  They hope to give you some information about staying active and keeping mentally well during this challenging time. The website is: http://pfw.org.uk/,
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/p4wInverness/ and Twitter: https://twitter.com/Partners4W. You can view their social media pages without having an account.

As well as the Glen Urquhart and Strathglass Community Helpline 07516 317 180, there are many local volunteer organisations springing into action to help support anyone who can’t leave the house due to self-isolating or shielding:

Highlands specific –  Highland Third Sector Interface is developing a directory https://www.highlandtsi.org.uk/covid.

The Highland Council will also be launching a free phone line, the number will be posted on their website.

I know for many of you the government guidelines will mean that you are having to stay indoors to keep yourself safe. For those that are still able to go out for a walk once a day please do send us photographs of your excursions and permission to share  info@soirbheas.org
