6 hours / week; £9.88 / hour

Glenurquhart Care Project are recruiting a part-time co-ordinator for our volunteer befriending and support service.

Beauly and Glens Helping Hands Befrienders will provide social and practical support to people experiencing social isolation and/or illness in and around Glenurquhart, Beauly and Strathglass.

The co-ordinator’s responsibilities include the day to day running of the service; completing initial assessments of clients; recruiting volunteers; matching volunteers to clients; and keeping records of all activities. You will work from home, however much of your time may be spent in the community.

The post is offered for an initial contract of eight months starting November 2020.
You should be a highly organised self-starter with experience in a care environment and an ability to assess and record client needs. Further training will be provided. For further information and a job pack please contact:
